JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Overview

This position is part of a dynamic department that will work at all of our Tosh sites. You will be responsible for all tasks related to mechanical/electrical systems and power to all existing facilities and facilities under construction.

Tosh Farms is a rapidly growing, family-owned crop and swine production business with over 450 employees and growing to 500 employees within the next year.  While we are family-owned, we are not a small outfit – we have 3 companies operating under the Tosh Farms – Tosh Farms, Tosh Pork, and Bacon by Gosh.  We are the #1 pork producer in the state of Tennessee and top 30 in the United States. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and oversee repairs and maintenance of all Tosh-owned facilities.
• Inspects all electrical connections prior to the operation of systems.
• Adherence to all safety requirements
• Diagnose the root cause of mechanical/electrical malfunctions.
• Repair/replace motors and electrical equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Who YOU are:

• 2+ years of general electrician experience
• 2+ years of Mechanical experience 
• Able to work outside and ability to work safely in high places over 100ft
• Self-motivated
• Technical education and experience in electrical issues required
• Licensed Electrician preferred
